This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Elevated hail risk...up to golf ball size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Areas of fog, some dense, is expected tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are likely, some of which could be strong
to severe. The primary risk is for large hail. The greatest risk
of large hail is south of I-80 after 10 pm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday...
Significant Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fog Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

An outbreak of severe thunderstorms is possible Saturday
afternoon into Saturday evening with the potential for very large
hail and tornadoes, including some threat for significant
tornadoes. While severe thunderstorms and even tornadoes appears
possible across the region, at this time it appears the highest
chances will be across north central Illinois including Dixon,
Rochelle, Peru, Dekalb, and Pontiac. Thunderstorms will be moving
rapidly to the northeast.

In addition to the thunderstorm threat on Saturday, areas of fog
will be possible Saturday morning in northeast Illinois, some
could be dense.

Then late Saturday night into Sunday morning, strong southwest to
west winds gusting up to 40 to 45 mph or more are possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Any reports of severe weather will be greatly appreciated tonight
and again Saturday afternoon and evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward east northeast at 50 to 60 mph.
