This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk NW Indiana shoreline late.
DISCUSSION...
A few wind gusts to 45 mph will be possible mainly early this
evening for locales south and east of I-57.
A period of strong northwest winds of 30 to 35 mph over the lake
is expected to result in elevated lakeshore flooding concerns
very late tonight across parts of the northwest Indiana shoreline.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
DISCUSSION:
A period of strong and gusty northwest winds will continue to
drive higher wave action into the northwest Indiana shore
resulting in a continued period of elevated lakeshore flooding
concerns. Conditions will ease during the evening hours.
