A brief period of light freezing rain is likely early this morning, mainly across north central Illinois and the west and northwest suburbs of Chicago. Glazing of elevated objects and untreated or lightly traveled roads is possible before temperatures warm above freezing during the morning. Patchy freezing drizzle is possible later tonight across far northern Illinois as well.
