The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST this morning.
VISIBILITY…areas of 1/4 mile or less.
TRENDS…fog may dissipate some as rain develops with any lingering fog dissipating after sunrise as drier air moves in.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving…slow down… use your headlights…and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
