This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited ice risk through this evening  Limited Snow Risk NW Indiana ending this evening.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered light snow showers and areas of patchy light freezing drizzle will be possible this evening across the entire area. Elevated surfaces as well as untreated surfaces may develop a light glaze where light freezing drizzle occurs.

Lake effect snow showers will dissipate this evening. Localized accumulations less than an inch are possible across Porter county.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

Thursday…

Limited Snow Risk mainly south of I-80 in the morning.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
