DISCUSSION:
A strong storm system will move through the upper Midwest Wednesday night through Friday. The local area will be on the warmer side of the storm, with a period of moderate to locally heavy rainfall and gusty southerly winds expected, primarily Thursday into Thursday evening. A few thunderstorms are possible Thursday into Thursday evening. Rainfall amounts may approach an inch in some spots by the time rain tapers off late Thursday night.
