Weather hazards expected…
Significant Fog Risk.
DISCUSSION…
Areas of dense freezing fog are likely across much of north central and northeast Illinois, but outside of the lake adjacent counties. Fog will drastically reduce visibility. In addition, temperatures are well below freezing, which will result in patchy icy spots.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday.
Wednesday…
Limited Light Ice Accumulation Risk.
Thursday…
Limited Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
There is a low chance for freezing rain Wednesday morning, and similarly there is a low chance for snow on Thursday.
