The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until noon CST Monday.
VISIBILITY…at or below one quarter mile.
IMPACTS…very cold temperatures will likely result in some icy patches, mainly on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated sidewalks.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving…slow down… use your headlights…and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
