THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...OVERNIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

THUNDERSTORMS...SOME COULD PRODUCE:
HEAVY RAIN.
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
AND POSSIBLY ISOLATED WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH.

AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE AFTER 2 AM...MAINLY SOUTH OF A PERU
TO RENSSELAER INDIANA LINE. THE SLIGHT CHANCE OF SEVERE STORMS
IS SOUTH OF A PONTIAC TO FOWLER INDIANA LINE.

DISCUSSION:

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE MAINLY EAST TO SOUTHEAST FROM
IOWA INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WHILE THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT
WILL REMAIN MAINLY SOUTH OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA...SOME GUSTY WINDS DURING AND AFTER THUNDERSTORMS MAY
OCCUR. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
STORMS...NAMELY FOR AREAS SOUTH OF A PERU TO RENSSELAER LINE.
ANY FLASH FLOODING THREAT WOULD LIKELY BE ISOLATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY ESPECIALLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 INTO
WEDNESDAY MORNING WITH A LOWER CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FARTHER
NORTH.

HIGH WAVES AND STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS SWIMMING
CONDITIONS FOR LAKE MICHIGAN BEACHES WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY
NIGHT.

THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS NEXT WEEKEND.
