...Areas of Fog and Possible Spotty Slick Spots Early this
Morning...

Areas of fog across north central and far northern Illinois this
morning are resulting in low visibility. This is locally down to
one quarter mile in places. In addition, temperatures are in the
teens within the fog, meaning slick pavement is possible. The fog
should dissipate by 8 AM.

Early morning motorists in north central Illinois, including along
parts of I-39, I-88, and I-90 should expect potential sharply
varying visibility and the possibility of slick spots. Allow
extra travel time and use heightened caution early this morning.
