This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk in the morning.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A strong storm system is expected to bring a period of rain and
perhaps a few embedded thunderstorms to the region late Sunday
night into Monday. Rainfall could be locally heavy at times,
particularly on Monday morning, leading to ponding in fields and
on roadways as well as rises in river levels. In addition, a band
of strong thunderstorms with damaging winds cannot be ruled out
Monday morning primarily along and south of I-80.

Southwest to west winds may gust up to 45 mph on Monday and
Monday evening, with the strongest winds expected mainly south of
I-80.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
