Elevated Flooding Risk in the afternoon and evening.
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk in far northern Illinois.
Limited Sleet Risk in far northern Illinois.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk in the afternoon and evening.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Thursday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A wintry mix, including accumulating ice, is likely across
portions of interior far northern Illinois Wednesday and Wednesday
evening. Accumulating sleet is also possible near the Wisconsin
state line. Periods of heavy rain may produce localized flooding
or ponding on roads near and south of I-88, along with river and
stream rises. Isolated thunderstorms are possible south of I-80
Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Strong westerly winds gusting up to 45 mph or more area wide
appear likely on Thursday.
