This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Elevated Flooding Risk near and southeast of I-55.
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Freezing rain will continue tonight across parts of far northern
Illinois with ice accumulations likely on cooler and elevated
surfaces. Light icing may also occur on bridges and overpasses,
as well as secondary, untreated roads.

Additionally, through early evening, periods of moderate to heavy
rainfall will lead to a flooding potential, primarily across
areas near and east of I-55. A few embedded thunderstorms are also
expected, some of which may produce locally strong winds.
