DISCUSSION:
A strong storm system is expected to bring a period of rain and
perhaps a few embedded thunderstorms to the region Sunday night
into Monday. Rainfall could be locally heavy at times,
particularly on Monday morning, leading to ponding in fields and
on roadways as well as rises in river levels.
Southwest to west winds may gust up to 45 mph on Monday and Monday
evening, with the strongest winds expected mainly south of I-80.
