Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk late tonight.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk late tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

DISCUSSION:
A strong storm system will bring a period of rain and perhaps a
few embedded thunderstorms to the region late tonight into
Monday. Rainfall could be locally heavy at times, particularly on
Monday morning, leading to ponding in fields and on roadways as
well as rises in river levels. In addition, a band of strong to
severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and a brief tornado cannot
be ruled out Monday morning primarily for locales south of I-80.
Southwest to west winds may gust up to 45 mph on Monday and
Monday evening, with the strongest winds expected mainly south of
I-80.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
