DISCUSSION...
Southwest winds will gust to 45 to 55 mph across locations south
of I-80 and along and east of I-55 today, with the highest gusts
south of the Kankakee River Valley.
Rain will change to snow over northwest and portions of far
northern Illinois late this morning into early afternoon. Some of
this snow may briefly fall heavy and result in some minor slushy
accumulations.
