This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk this morning...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

There is a chance for spotty, embedded thunderstorms across the
area early this morning.

Quick-moving showers, and maybe a thunderstorm or two, capable of
isolated wind damage will be possible across locations south of the
Kankakee River Valley early this morning.

Southwest winds will gust to 45 to 55 mph across locations south
of I-80 and along and east of I-55 today, with the highest gusts
south of the Kankakee River Valley. These winds will be capable of
downing small limbs.

Rain will change to snow over northwest and portions of far
northern Illinois late this morning into early afternoon. Some of
this snow may briefly fall heavy and result in minor accumulations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed early this morning south of the
Kankakee River Valley.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the northeast at 65 mph.
