...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY...
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
9 AM CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, slippery road conditions
and snow expected. Total snow accumulations through Tuesday
morning of 2 to 5 inches. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very
cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero expected.

* WHERE...McHenry, Lee and De Kalb Counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 3 PM this
afternoon to 9 AM CST Tuesday. For the Wind Chill Advisory,
until noon CST today.

* IMPACTS...Travel will become hazardous later today, with some
impacts to this evenings commute, as well as into Tuesday
morning. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed
skin in as few as 30 minutes.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
