This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Snow Risk.
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Snow will spread over the entire area tonight. The heaviest snow
will fall through the early overnight hours, where 1 inch per hour
or greater snow rates may occur along with visibility to one
quarter mile at times. In addition, lake effect snow will continue
which may reduce visibility in some locations to near zero and could
lead to very heavy snowfall rates up to 2 inches per hour.
Expect dangerous travel conditions. Blowing and drifting snow
may also occur tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Limited Snow Risk.
Wednesday through Saturday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Snow may linger near the lake in the morning, with additional
accumulation possible mainly across northwest Indiana.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
