Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk, mainly along the Indiana Lake Michigan shore.
DISCUSSION...
A lake effect snow band will continue to graze the northwestern
Indiana Lake Michigan shore. Highly variable but reduced
visibility and slippery road conditions are expected under the
band, including along I-80.
Tonight, wind chills will range from 10 to 20 below zero, coldest
west of I-39.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday and Friday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Saturday...
Significant Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Sunday...
Significant Excessive Cold Risk.
Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Additional rounds of fluffy snow accumulations are possible
through early next week. One of the better chances of light
accumulating snow appears to Saturday.
