Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero are expected this morning.
Wind chills will remain sub-zero through the day, and will range
from 5 below to 15 below late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Saturday...
Significant Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

The very cold and active weather pattern will persist across the
region through the coming week. This will feature the potential
for additional rounds of accumulating fluffy snow for the area
especially Monday and Monday night. The very cold temperatures
will worsen travel impacts from the snow.
