This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Light snow is expected this morning mainly along and south of the
I-80 corridor, and this afternoon and evening across the entire
area. Cold temperatures will allow snow to stick to pavement
quickly, and may produce slippery travel conditions. Total
accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected, with a few isolated 3
inch amounts possible by the time snow ends late tonight.

Cold arctic air remains in place across the region. Wind chills
of 5 to 15 below can be expected this morning, and 10 to 20 below
late tonight into early Tuesday morning.
