This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk this morning...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to half dollar size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms will move across far northeast Illinois and possibly
far northwest Indiana early this morning providing some severe risk.
This includes the city of Chicago. These will gradually weaken by
later morning.
Temperatures inland this afternoon will reach the mid 90s with
heat index readings around 100.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Friday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:
Heat will continue this week. Highs will be well into the 90s
in most places. Continue to practice heat safety.
