This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk tonight.

DISCUSSION...

A few isolated thunderstorms are possible today. The slight
chance for thunderstorms this afternoon will be from I-80 and
south and then shifting south through the early evening. Severe
weather is unlikely.

Brisk northeasterly winds will develop tonight over Lake Michigan,
building large waves and strong currents that will cause dangerous
swimming conditions at the beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
High Swim Risk.
Saturday through Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Dangerous swimming conditions will persist at Lake Michigan
beaches through Tuesday evening.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 30 to 40 mph.
