This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Expect heat index values in the upper 90s to locally 100 degrees
this afternoon.

There is a chance of thunderstorms across primarily northwest and
north central Illinois late this afternoon into this evening.
Additional storms are possible across the entire area late
tonight through daybreak Monday. Strong gusty winds will be
possible with any of these thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Warm and humid conditions with heat index values in the mid to
upper 90s are expected again on Monday afternoon primarily south
of I-80. In this area, additional strong to potentially severe
thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible in the afternoon and
evening.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east at 30 mph.
