This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk overnight for far northern
and northeastern Illinois...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
DISCUSSION...
Heat index readings will reach the 95 to 100 range this
afternoon for locations away from the immediate Lake Michigan
shore. Practice basic heat safety.
A thunderstorm complex will develop across Minnesota and Wisconsin
tonight. Most guidance keep this complex north of the area, though'it
will be moving to the southeast and will approach the local area.
If the storms hold together into IL, a risk for damaging winds
would exist in far northeast Illinois
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk in the morning.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:
Heat will continue this week. While highs will be well into the
90s in most places, the air mass is not expected to be
oppressively humid. Nonetheless, ensure to continue basic heat
safety.

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight outside
of a low chance in far northeast Illinois.
