This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk late tonight Illinois beaches.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
While organized severe weather is not expected, some storms could
produce brief strong and gusty winds today in addition to heavy
downpours.

Waves are expected to build sharply tonight resulting in
developing dangerous swimming conditions at Illinois beaches late
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
High Swim Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk Monday Night.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Tuesday...
High Swim Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Dangerous swimming conditions are expected Monday through Tuesday
night and may even linger through Wednesday. There is also a risk
for minor lakeshore flooding Monday through Monday night,
possibly persisting into Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east at 15 mph.
