This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
The potential exists for a couple of rounds of thunderstorm
chances through tonight. The first will be focused across
primarily north-central Illinois this evening. The second will be
across the entire area late tonight through daybreak Monday.
Strong gusty winds and locally heavy rain will be possible with
any of these thunderstorms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Monday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Warm and humid conditions with heat index values in the upper 90s
to near 100 are expected again on Monday. Additional strong to
potentially severe thunderstorms with gusty winds and heavy rain
are possible in the afternoon and evening as a cold front moves
through the area.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
