This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Fog Risk Late tonight.
DISCUSSION...
Additional isolated thunderstorms are still possible
this afternoon and evening with the potential for locally gusty
winds and heavy rain. This activity should remain below
severe limits. Coverage may be slightly higher south of I-80
but we still expect fairly low coverage.
There is potential for areas of fog, some possibly dense, late
tonight across mainly north central Illinois.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Monday...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Elevated Fog Risk in the morning.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
There is potential for areas of fog, some possibly dense, on
early Monday morning across mainly north central Illinois.
Thunderstorms are expected Monday night across Wisconsin and
there is a chance a few of these clip far northern Illinois
later in the night and Tuesday morning. If this were to happen,
a stronger storm or two is possible.
Heat will build into the area this week. While highs will be
solidly in the 90s in most places, the air mass is not expected
to be oppressively humid. Nonetheless, ensure to practice
basic heat safety.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
