This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Widely scattered thunderstorms are possible ahead of a cold
front moving through the area this afternoon. These are not
expected to be severe or long lasting. The primary focus would be
from the city of Chicago and southwest early this afternoon,
southeast of I-55 later this afternoon, and southeast of I-57
this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Saturday...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Sunday and Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Higher heat and humidity are probable this weekend. The heat
index may exceed 100 degrees, especially Sunday. Our next good
chance for showers and thunderstorms looks to be Monday as a
cold front shifts across the area. Locally heavy rainfall will
be possible with this activity.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east northeast at 15 mph.
