This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 50 to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms, with the greatest coverage south of
I-80 and also east of I-55, are expected to continue to develop
into the afternoon hours. Torrential downpours may cause localized
instances of flash flooding for locales south and east of a
Pontiac to Kankakee to Valparaiso line. A threat for strong wind
gusts also exists with thunderstorms in this area today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday through Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Saturday and Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
