This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

The primary concern today will be heat indices in the 100 to 105
degree range area wide. Thunderstorm chances will increase
throughout the afternoon and evening, and there is a small
chance for an isolated damaging wind threat, mainly northwest.
Some of these storms could produce locally heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Significant Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

The concern for more widespread thunderstorms Monday would be
across the southeast half of the outlook area.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving toward the east around 10 mph.
