Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Oppressive heat will continue this afternoon with the hottest
conditions along and south of I-80.
Tonight, a line of thunderstorms is expected to move into northern
Illinois most likely after midnight. Damaging winds and very heavy
rainfall is possible with an associated with for downed tree limbs
and localized flash flooding.
