Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday ...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk mainly in the evening.
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk mainly in the evening.
Monday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk southeast of I-57.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Heat indices Sunday afternoon will climb above 100 degrees, and
locally towards 105 degrees.

There is a low chance for thunderstorms north and west of I-55
during the late-afternoon with increasing chances in the evening
and overnight. Some storms could be strong with a threat for
strong wind gusts, as well as locally heavy rainfall.

Thunderstorm chances will persist into Monday with a threat for
strong to marginally severe wind gusts mainly east of I-57 in
addition to localized heavy rainfall.
