THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...

along and south of a line from Pontiac Illinois to Rensselaer
Indiana.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk.
Thursday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Frost Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Friday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Frost Risk.
Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
A large weather system will move over the area Wednesday into
Thursday, with the primary impact most will experience being
wind. Gusts will reach 40 to 50 mph late Wednesday night
into Thursday morning, with gusts of 60 mph near the lake
shore. This will produce high waves near the lake front,
potentially causing lakeshore flooding.
Rainfall on already wet ground may cause localized flooding, as
well as likely bring increases on area rivers which are already
running high.
There is potential to see late season snow with this system. On
Wednesday morning, this is for areas mainly north of a Dixon to
Waukegan line, where sharply reduced visibility could occur. For
Wednesday night and Thursday morning, snow is possible area wide,
with the better chances for sharply reduced visibility and some
accumulation east of a Woodstock to Pontiac IL line.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
