DISCUSSION:

A large storm system will take shape across the west today, and
migrate toward our area through the weekend. Ahead of this system
periods of rain are expected, moderate to heavy at times,
especially later Saturday into Sunday. Rainfall through the
weekend will generally fall between 1.5 and 4 inches. This may
lead to areal flooding late in the weekend, but will also lead to
significant rises on area rivers. Stay tuned to the forecast as we
hope to hone in on the axis of heaviest rains.

In addition, the Sugar Creek will approach bankfull later Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
