THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Portions of the Illinois...Des Plaines...and Fox Rivers are in
flood.
DISCUSSION:
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop over portions of
northern Illinois after midnight tonight. While no severe weather is
expected, these thunderstorms may produce rainfall amounts of up to
an inch by early Thursday morning, which could produce minor
localized ponding of water in low lying areas, and may result in
new rises on area rivers and creeks. Areas most likely to see these
heavier rains are those located generally west of the Fox River Valley
and north of Interstate 80.

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
