THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Very dry conditions will again be found across the region today with
relative humidity values falling to 15 to 30 percent. This combined
with increasing southeast winds with gusts to near 20 mph will create
elevated fire weather concerns today.

In addition...portions of the Fox River will be near bankfull through
early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Wednesday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday through Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A more active pattern will set up for the latter half of the week, with
periods of heavy rain and possible thunderstorms both Wednesday and then
again over the weekend.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
