THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail Risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Thunderstorm Wind Damage Risk...up to 60 MPH.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A large storm system will migrate toward the area through the
weekend. Several periods of rain are expected, moderate to heavy
at times, especially tonight into Sunday. Rainfall totals could
result in flooding and lead to significant rises on area rivers.
There is a threat of strong to severe thunderstorms south of the
Kankakee river valley late this afternoon through early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

The threat of strong to severe thunderstorms along with additional
heavy rainfall will remain on Sunday area wide.

In addition...flooding is expected along most of the area rivers

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed late this afternoon south of the Kankakee
river valley.

Moving east northeast at 45 MPH.
