DISCUSSION:

A large weather system will move over the area Wednesday into
Thursday, with the primary impact most will experience being
wind. Gusts will reach 40 to 45 mph late Wednesday night
into Thursday morning, with gusts of 50 to 55 mph near the lake
shore. This will produce high waves near the lake front,
potentially causing lakeshore flooding.

Rainfall on already wet ground may cause localized flooding, as
well as likely bring increases on area rivers which are already
running high.

There is potential to see late season snow with this system. On
Wednesday morning, this is for areas mainly north of a Peru to
Chicago line, where sharply reduced visibility could occur. For
Wednesday night and Thursday morning, snow is possible area wide,
with the better chances for sharply reduced visibility and some
accumulation east of a Woodstock to Pontiac IL line.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
