This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
High Swim Risk tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and embedded thunderstorms will move in from the west and
southwest into the afternoon and spread across most of the area by
evening. Severe weather is not expected but heavy downpours may
lead to ponding of water and isolated flooding. Easterly winds
will increase into the evening bringing building waves and
dangerous swimming conditions to the Illinois shoreline of
Lake Michigan tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Monday through Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Periodic showers and thunderstorms are expected Sunday through
much of the upcoming week. Large waves will continue to bring
dangerous swimming conditions to the Illinois beaches of Lake
Michigan Sunday and Sunday evening.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east or northeast at 25 to 30 mph.
