This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk south of US-24...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to nickel to quarter size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 50 to 60 mph.
High Swim Risk at Lake Michigan beaches.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible through early evening near
and south of US-24. Any of these thunderstorms will have the
potential to produce strong to severe wind gusts and large hail.
Locally heavy rain is also possible with these thunderstorms.

Strong northeasterly winds will produce high waves and dangerous
swimming conditions through tonight along southern Lake Michigan
beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
High Swim Risk at Lake Michigan beaches.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday...
High Swim Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed through early this evening, mainly near and
south of US-24.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 30 to 40 mph.
