This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible late tonight in far northern
Illinois. If some do develop, they could have a marginally
severe wind threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Friday...
High Swim Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Heat index readings will likely top 100 degrees in parts of
north central Illinois Wednesday afternoon.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible during the day Wednesday,
some of which could be strong. On Wednesday night, organized
thunderstorms are likely to move from Wisconsin into northeast
Illinois and northwest Indiana, bringing potential for severe
winds, as well as locally heavy rainfall. Some storms are
likely to continue into early Thursday morning in these areas.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible south of I-80 on Thursday
afternoon. A few of these could be severe.

Increased wave action will develop along southern Lake
Michigan beaches Thursday afternoon through midday Friday,
creating dangerous swimming conditions.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 35 mph.
