Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few thunderstorms will be possible late tonight, mainly for
parts of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk south of I-80.
Monday through Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk, mainly well south of I-80.

DISCUSSION:

There will be continued chances for thunderstorms through the
weekend. While there is uncertainty regarding thunderstorm
placement and timing on Saturday, if storms develop, a few could
be strong to severe. However, the best chance is expected during
the evening hours.

Heat and humidity will continue to build on Friday, with heat
indices near 100 degrees possible area-wide on Saturday and south
of I-80 on Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 25 mph.
