This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...enough to down small tree limbs.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms with a torrential downpour
and flooding risk could persist through a portion of this
morning. In the afternoon and evening, additional
thunderstorms are likely, some of which could be strong to severe.
Torrential downpours will be likely in thunderstorms, which could
cause localized flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another wave of heavy rainfall producing showers and storms
will move through on Friday. Therefore, localized flash flooding
may continue to be a concern on Friday south of Interstate 80,
but possibly as far north as Interstate 88.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed this afternoon or early evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east northeast at 25 to 30 mph.
