High Swim Risk.
DISCUSSION...
North to northeast winds with gusts of 15 to 20 mph will continue
to generate high waves and strong currents on Lake Michigan. This
will make for dangerous swimming conditions at Illinois and
Indiana beaches through the day.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Sunday...
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Monday and Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Temperatures will warm into the lower 90s in many spots on
Independence Day and again on Monday, with heat index values in
the mid 90s both afternoons.
