Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Tornado Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Expect scattered thunderstorms through early this evening, mainly
south and east of I-57. Some of these storms may be strong to
marginally severe, producing locally damaging winds and temporary
heavy rainfall. The threat for storms will diminish towards
mid-evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday Night...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk south of I-80.
Friday and Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
There is a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday, mainly along and east
of I-55. Another system will bring potential for more storms
Wednesday evening into Thursday, some of which may be severe.
The chance for thunderstorms continues Friday.
