This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Damaging Wind Risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Periods of showers, primarily along and south of I-88, will
contain embedded thunderstorms this mid afternoon through
tonight. For south of I-80, a few of these storms could produce
wind gusts of 45 to 60 mph. Torrential downpours will also be
likely in thunderstorms, which could cause localized flash
flooding where storms track over the same area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Another wave of heavy rainfall producing showers and storms
will move through the region on Friday. Localized flash flooding
may continue to be a concern south of Interstate 80, but possibly
as far north as Interstate 88.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters may be needed this afternoon or early evening south
of I-80.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east-northeast at 30 mph.
