...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5
inches. Storm total snowfall of 4 to 7 inches. Northeast winds
gusting to 30 mph will lead to blowing snow and periods of very
low visibility.

* WHERE...Winnebago, McHenry and Boone Counties.

* WHEN...Until noon CST today.

* IMPACTS...Travel will continue to be difficult. Hazardous
conditions will impact this morning's commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated power outages are possible due to
the combined effects of the wet, heavy snow and gusty winds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
