This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A period of wet snow this evening may yield minor slushy accumulations
for portions of interior northern Illinois. Amounts of up to one
inch to locally as high as two inches near the Wisconsin border are
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Snow Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Scattered snow showers are forecast on Friday, some of which could
produce minor travel impacts due to brief heavier snow rates,
reduced visibility, and localized minor accumulations.

An area of snow will move into northern Illinois in the pre-dawn
hours of Saturday and then spread southeast into the afternoon.
Additional minor accumulations are probable with this next round
of snow.

Additional light snow accumulations are then possible with another
disturbance on Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
